Obey Them That Have The Rule Over You?
Obey them that have the rule over you!What does this mean for us in the assembly?
Today, there is much misunderstanding from followers of the way regarding the authority in an assembly. This is usually from Sha’ul’s teaching from 1 Corinthians 11:3, about headship.
The picture above shows how children obey their teacher. Remember, HaMashiach said we must be like little children to enter the kingdom!
Mat 18:2 And Yahusha called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them,
Mat 18:3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
Mat 18:4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
And in the book of Hebrews it tells us who we are to obey in the assembly, and we look at that verse in Hebrews 13 to illustrate headship for believers in an assembly. Watch the video.
