How Shall He Gather His Elect? Surprise!!! Matthew 24:31
How shall he gather his elect in the latter days? Matthew 24:31 is a very famous verse in which the Messiah told us how he would gather together his elect. This is what the verse says:
Mat 24:31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
Now almost everyone who sees that will think that he will be gather his elect (before his return) through literal angels. However, this verse shows another angle to the word angel which matches up line upon line to tell us exactly what the Messiah was saying. Remember, he speaks to us in parables!
Mat 13:10 And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?
Mat 13:11 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.
Remember also, that his people will be gathered even before his return.
